- MATERIAL
See our list of trusted local suppliers.
If you intend to purchase/supply your own material it is recommended that you place your material choice on hold with the supplier rather than pay supplier directly.
Riva has special trade pricing with these suppliers and will pass along savings to our clients.
For owner provided material we work with you on number of slabs required once we have drawings.
Otherwise, you can visit these suppliers either in person or on-line and select the material(s) for your project.
Once selected EMAIL material details:
-supplier name
-material name
Note: Riva Marble & Granite is not responsible for durability of owner provided material (purchased by client directly from supplier)
nor its resistance to cracking, chipping, discoloration, or breakage during fabrication or installation.

Material and labor costs are estimated separately.
- ON-SITE MEASUREMENT
BEFORE measure/template:
All cabinets must be completely installed and level. Recommend sub-top of 5/8” plywood – attached to cabinet and level.
To ensure accurate fabrication measurements, all sink holes must be cut out of plywood and sink(s) set flush within plywood.
All appliances must be on site, including: sinks, faucets, stoves, cooktops, etc. as all required decisions are made during this appointment.
Changes made after this point will delay the process and an additional $195 trip fee will be assessed if Riva must return due to the project not being ready upon arrival to template/measure.
MEASURE/TEMPLATE appointment:
All projects will be measured/templated unless otherwise noted in the Estimate.
Call or email office 4-7 days in advance of your preferred measure appointment day.
During the appointment Riva will go over all the fine details at project location such as seam placement, overhangs, radius corners, edge detail, etc.
The project will be fabricated and completed to measurements taken at this appointment.
